目標蛋白簡介

甘油醛-3-磷酸脫氫酶 (glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase, GAPDH) 是一種分子量約 37 kDa 的酵素,可催化糖解作用 (glycolysis) 中的第六步反應,於葡萄糖分解與細胞能量代謝過程中扮演重要角色。除了這項已被廣泛建立的代謝功能外,近年研究亦發現 GAPDH 參與多種非代謝性生物過程,包括轉錄活化 (transcription activation)、細胞凋亡 (apoptosis) 啟動、內質網至高基氏體 (ER-to-Golgi) 的囊泡運輸,以及快速軸突運輸 (fast axonal transport) 或軸漿運輸 (axoplasmic transport) 等。

在 WB 實驗中,由於 GAPDH 在多數組織與細胞中具有較高且相對穩定的表現量,因此常作為 loading control 內參蛋白,用以校正樣本間的上樣差異,提升實驗數據的可靠性與可比較性。
